Publisher: Silverberry Press , This book is either interestingly strange or strangely interesting. The marriage of the hard science fiction idea of brain transfer coupled with the fantasy ideas of fairies and wizards was very unique. The writing is tight, no frills.

Good pace to the story too. I'll definitely check out his next book. A tedious read belabored by descriptions of scientific theory and explanation in both computer and neural sciences.

Not for the casual reader who will find it difficult to get through the pages that makes up this confusing narrative. I'm not even going to bother finishing it; I've forced myself to page 90, but that's all I can stand. And if I couldn't make it through the story, I'm not going to read through the research in the appendices. In my opinion, if you have to explain your work in the second half of the book, you didn't do a very good job of writing the book in the first place.

Soothing Deep Pink Noise ( 12 Hours )

Good books, like good jokes, need no explanation. The worst part is, the story has great potential, but it just never develops.

Overall, I was just flatout disappointed. That said, I'm sure niche readers will love it. February 12, - Published on Amazon. The story is hyper-imaginative and different; other reviewers give a fair sense of it. The physical binding, printing and typography, art work and construction of the hard cover edition are handled with exquisite care.

Of at least as much interest as the story are the references to sources and information summarized at the end: Notes and References on Brain and Evolution, and Galaxies in a Plasma Lab reference to current Electric Universe ideas and concepts ; a Bibliography, a Glossary useful if you don't speak or read Zulu, Irish, Malayalam or Science ; and information on the typefaces and fonts Leo has selected. It is an intoxicating story, one that demands to be read quickly, and one that draws you back into its world as soon as you have finished.

Pink Noise - Leonid Korogodski

Explosive in its approach to language and imaginative in its portrayal of a life lived in cyberspace as well as in the real world, this postcyberpunk adventure injects the genre with a long-awaited freshness. A good choice for both adult and YA fans of hard sf and postmodern fantasy. This book is one of the most impressive works of literature I have read in some time, both utterly original and technologically head-spinning. The pace is relentless and the prose almost poetic in places, with a real sense of grace and emotional power.

Pink Noise is the explosive birth of a new star in science fiction. Utterly mind-bending, Pink Noise is nothing if not imaginative. As a result, you are sure to finish his spiritually-winding tale emotionally exhausted—yet strangely intrigued by the nascent enlightenment you somehow now possess.

This book was a whirlwind adventure. There was something fluid and hypnotic about the phrasing in this story, making me feel very much like a futuristic Alice who had just fallen down the rabbit hole into a whole new world.
